My Web Design Experience
Hello, my name is Claire Amber.
I am a web designer, writer, and artist.
I am also an intuitive and feng shui master.
I started out creating websites for my own healing arts ventures, in 2008. I have since worked with many other healers to create websites for their businesses, as well.
I have also had the privilege of creating websites for artists, non-profits, and green business owners.
I love to teach web design, too. So, whether you need a website built for your heart-centered business, or you want help creating your own, I’d love to chat about supporting you with your WordPress project.

This is the back-end stuff that’s as basic as creating a blog post, or as technical as changing your DNS settings. We all have blind spots and I can help you identify and shore up yours. I aim to break things down in a way that’s easy to understand for the non-tech person.
Even if you don’t end up working in the back-end, so much, at least knowing about the nuts and bolts can help you communicate more effectively with your web host company.
Design Skills
Aesthetics are sometimes overlooked, by those teaching web design, because most of the focus is on just how to use the different components. But how do you put them all together in a way that makes sense, is user-friendly, and visually appealing?
I can show you how to create a harmonious color scheme, create a mood or a certain vibe, resize images, choose fonts, lay out your content, and more.
Marketing Magic
Unfortunately, marketing strategy is sometimes overlooked, but it really should be the core of what informs your content, layout, and the overall design of your website.
Let’s not forget about the keyword that on everybody’s minds. SEO. Search Engine Optimization. It is very important and I can teach you the basics, so you can make more informed decisions about how to best use it on your website.

I’m am self-taught and I’ve been designing WordPress websites for many years.
While I know enough coding to get the job done, I’m not a programmer.
